
I'm having these moments more and more frequently now. It's a bit disarming.
1. Going on a shopping trip using someone else's list, even if it's as short as two items. Blank out, left wondering what the second thing was.
2. About to do something, full of excitement and eagerness, and forget what it was after a distraction as minor as opening a new tab. Left wide-eyed and dumbfounded over what I was thinking of doing, barely even a second ago, while still feeling the gush of enthusiasm.
3. Jumbling up letters in a typed word, and not in the typo/timing manner. e.g. hitting t first while trying to type "continue." This happens sometimes when writing by hand, too. I catch myself while doing it. That's a good thing, right?
4. Stuttering/misusing basic day-to-day words. Thankfully, this is mostly limited to Chinese. But still scary to have to pause, think, and figure out what part of "x

ῑ" [dishwasher] I messed up pronouncing.
5. Forgetting common words. This happens mostly with English. e.g. totally unable to recall the word "towel," and having to resort to describing qualities of the item to others in hopes that they can identify whatever the fuck I'm talking about.
