The only thing I associate with the word "creepy" is the bunny picture (that I think Maggie or someone posted here way back when). The mother, with her eyes, was CREEPY as hell.
Haven't stumbled upon any "creepy" dolls yet, however. Most of them are just plain ugly/ without taste. =/
It seems that any one of these dolls (bare with no eyes, wig, any type of clothes, etc.) would cost five to six hundred plus. To put together a "decent" outfit would require around another 200. (Shipping fee not included in any of the above numbers...and we know these are all made in Asia.)
I think I'm catching on, only now, on just how big a business "SQUEEZING-ARTISTS'-WALLETS-DRY" really is. They don't make much, yet supplies of all sorts cost like fuck. What's up with that? =_=
There is beautay in 'em... And while I do agree it takes little skill (but great taste) for people to simply buy these online and assemble it all together, I have to say that whoever designed/made these dolls in the first place are quite the impressive.
I'd like to collect beautiful sculpture replicas of people/things, and I lament the fact I can't make them myself. =/ [/loser]
