I'm not a big fan of the first outfit with the beige? belt. (Though the belt itself I like. Also liking your chunky bracelet, where'd you get them? ;D) I think it needs another detail on top. Maybe a wider neckline? maybe wide enough to reveal some shoulder? Or a cut along the sleeve to show some more upper arm skin. Or shorter sleeves.
I really like the thin-braided belt one though~ and then the vest and cardigan ones. because thin belt string things and drapery is omgoshlove. Maybe.
The model from your first example is from http://childhoodflames.blogspot.com. I like her style~ though its color scheme is mostly black... and black.
And bagels are addictive... :< especially raisin cinnamon ones with cream cheese orz. They kinda remind me of Stuy/hole in the wall cheap bagels.
That belt is actually woven metallic gold, which didn't show up too well. =| And that particular bangle I got on sale for a dollar at Wet Seal, though I think chunky bangles are pretty common anywhere? Just not for that cheap. XD
As to Jarek's shirt...yeah, it has a dude neckline. =\ If I were into DIY and have like a sewing machine and the know-how and everything, I'd probably alter it into a boat neck and do something to the sleeves. Off-shoulder looks I love, but just not on myself. My shoulders were never bony enough to pull off that look.
Re: childhoodflames. Yep, I love Camille too. <3 Too bad she doesn't make as many outfit posts as she used to. Her mainly black/white palette is actually pretty similar to my own... This poast was mostly boredom/just for fun; I'd never actually wear something as bold as this blue by itself without something else to mute it down.
And I actually never eat bagels, unless they are offered for free (see my post yesterday) or, back in the day, from Hole in the Wall very occasionally. Most already-prepared bagels have way too much cream cheese, and I can't stand stuff with that buttery texture.
