Interesting how it took me a bit of thinking and searching to realize that out of all the things in my studio now, that spider plant is the one thing I'd be most reluctant to leave behind. It was dying under the care of a suite mate freshman year, and by the time we were moving out, it had less than a handful of yellow, withering leaves remaining. She marked it for the dumpster...so I took it in. All the plant wanted was the loving attention of someone admiring it for 2-3 minutes each day. It's a tiny commitment compared to most pets, and it's a guaranteed trick to bring any dying plant back to blooming life.
My classic answer would most likely be this. But like I mentioned earlier, that spider plant came to mind surprisingly first.Day 08 - A picture that makes you laugh.
