123rd Post!

Hay guys, it's teh BUN D:! First post since forever. I've been mostly a lurker though (on and off lurker, really) and I've been inspired to post again after our meet-up this weekend. So far, school's been good...There was supposed to be a meteor shower either yesterday or the day before but I totally missed it because 1. I was uninformed and 2. it was bloody 13 degrees outside >_>. FYI to the sky gazers of WTB, there's gonna be a MAJOR meteor shower (my friend told me it might be the biggest one of the year~) near finals week (which is like the 2nd week of December for me) so grab a blanket and find the dimmest place in your vicinity!

As some of you already know, I declared my major. I'm studying Environmental Chemistry. Why chemistry you ask? I wanted to revisit it since high school (RIP to Ms. Bulgaris) and turns out, it was as interesting as it was back then, except a bit harder -_-. Speaking of Ms. Bulgaris, for those who've taken her class (some of you guys are here xD) did you notice her coughs were a bit heavy and congested sounding back when we were taking her class? This article kind of explains why. I don't read the Spectator anymore but I did a quick google search on her and this came up. Now that I think about it, I don't even remember reading the textbook in that class...maybe that's why chemistry is so hard now -_-.

So, back at home, my bro called me to say that he got a computer. Guess what that means? I GET HIS OLD ONE *does a dance.* In the Kim household, my brother gets dibs on the newest computer and then his old one gets passed down to me. I don't reallly mind because it's better than the current one I have which, evidently gets passed to my dad/mom. Then again, they are kind of using my computer right now so it's not that big of a change.

Speaking of inheriting my bro's new computer, as most of you might know (esp. Veronica xD) I'm a huge Sims 2 fanatic -_-... Usually, I play so much that I get tired of it right away but recently, I've been downloading a lot of custom items and skins (which is making me play even more) and also I'm away at college so I don't play it often. EA Games came up with a new expansion pack which allows you to use magic X_X!!! Also, the player gets to build apartment-like complexes instead of making a mandatory house. This might not excite you guys much but to me, it's very interesting~ I can't wait to go play when I go back *_*! Since my brother's old computer was the only computer that can run the game without lagging like boob, I get to play it ALL THE TIME MUAHAHHAHA. This will end my social life for sho' T-T.

Sorry I'm ranting about my personal life here. I felt like posting something here on WTB since it was a significant little part of my intarwebz life. I don't really use the phrase WTB anymore...probably because it's sort of weird saying that, in public anyhow. Then again, most of you don't post here anyway...SHAME XD!!!

And finally, I'll end this long post with...
RANDOM ITEM OF THE DAY
Yesterday night, I was watching Good Eats and the potato ricer was mentioned. This is an essential tool for those who want incredibly smooth mashed potatoes. It takes it to a WHOLE 'NOTHA LEVEL.
Here's a picture of Julia Child, a chef with a beautiful personality, and a quote talking about her ricer she bought in the 50's:

"This is a great German potato ricer. It's good and solid. You see, the potato goes in and you go schoooom and out she comes! I love great big things like this, it really works very well. Of course it all comes apart for washing, so it's a very practical instrument." She's a doll xD...

This sort of remindes me of those KoOL KLuB emails I sent such a long time ago! Except this is longer and slightly more meaningful -_-... So ends the post that Hyo started. Please await for the future posts to come ;d~

Signin' off,
Hyo-Piyo
